I travel I-90 to Syracuse at least once a quarter.
You can do 76 MPH and be worry free.
I usually do 78 MPH and try to blend in with traffic.
They love the laser gun in NY, so try not to be out by yourself. Always stick behind another car.
Areas to watch out:
About 10-15 miles before and after the major cities is where they usually sit. Syracuse, Utica, Albany are the major ones.
When getting into Mass. there is a 30 miles stretch between exit 2 and 3.
There is always at least 1 cop in between this area. Sometimes they are east and sometimes west.
Mass has a ton of road signs with radar always on, so don't get fooled by them. If I remember right they are located, right after the toll booth.
Exit 4, Exit 9, Exit 13.
Good luck!
