My recent D-I-Y prices for comparison.... I built and installed 72 feet of 6 ft tall pressure treated dog-eared board fence this past summer. I bought all the pickets pre-cut and built my own panels (to save even more cost).
My total cost was around $750, not including a new $100 collated screw driver. It took me a full week of evenings and two-weekends, in brutal full sun, interrupted by sudden monsoon-like rains (just to make things more miserable).
Your quote sounds good to me.
