Dealer was the exact opposite. Just handed my dad the keys to the car, with no info. He spent forever trying to figure the navigation and blue tooth out. Everytime I talked to him last week he complained that they didnt show him anything.
Then the next week he bought my mom an SRX and drove it from Detroit to Fort Wayne and gets home and they hadn't included the owner's manual. They couldn't figure out how to reprogram the keyless entry so everytime that you unlocked the car it moved the pedals, seats, mirrors...etc.
I wonder if he just had two bad experiences or if dealers are dropping the ball with all of these incentives and so on.
He ended up with the 300 Hemi with AWD--he thinks it's awesome compared to his S80 T6 and I guess the SRX is pretty sweet to apparently he got $14k off list. He wanted to get her a 9-5 wagon but couldn't find any in Michigan or Indiana.
I wish dealers could find a happy medium. Mine explained everything to me when I got my 9-2. When I got my 9-3 (RIP) five years ago the dealer just gave me the keys.
Cheers
Chris
