My wife & I live exactly half way between Raleigh( RDU) & Greensboro (GSO), about 14 miles west of chapel hill off rt 54 , and I work in the RTP near RDU w a commute time of around 40 minutes. We're far enough from anything that crime, polution, etc, etc, aren't an issue, but can get to any number of shops or stores in 20 minutes or less. There is one saab dealer in each city, although the RDU dealer has an outpost called Swedish Imports near Chapel Hill (take a look at a good map), they're not too bad, I took my 90SPG there for a harmonic balance & was quite pleased... Tom Townsend of Townsend Import fame is in Greensboro, Excellent of course but pretty much booked.

There's a bunch of excellent restaurants in the area & we split pretty much between RDU/Chapel Hill/GSO. Describe what your looking for & I can prob give some suggestions.

Car insurance? we pay ~ 900/yr for 2 cars w comp/collision/glass/$1 mil liability. 90 spg, 89 jag vdp
