I am beginning to wonder if an open source like Linux is the way to go. Macs are a great product, but Linux is open source. I am surprised anyone other than a blue state donkey would use a Mac.

As far as Sam, you really need to buy a copy of Norton Utilities for 50 bucks. It is a cheap investment. Then turn off your pop-ups. Either that, or pay a guy from Geek Squad to fix it for you.Rafe is right. A computer is like a car. It needs constant maintanance.
