Spenchian's broader point was that the old ad campaigns were not about the product. He's right, of course, but that is something that Debra heard from many of us for years.
Does it ever seem like things happen v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y at GM? It is certainly not a workplace in which people are encouraged to Find Their Own Road. Nor is it likely to be confused with the State of Independence.
