Don't you love that tense exhilaration driving with marginal conditions on summer tires, hoping they'll hold when you want them to, but enjoying a little sliding about when they don't. You definitely know you're fully alive then. Glad you enjoyed it.
Australia is on our plans. I'd even gotten most of the way through applying for a year's teacher exchage to Hobart (more like Alaska, I hear) but the adminstration nipped that one just before it bloomed.
