I do a lot of onlne teaching - my advice, for what it is worth - many state universities and colleges have online programs, and their rates are much less than Phoenix, and their degrees are easily accepted and recognizable. Generally speaking, there is nothing in your transcript or diploma that indicates your work was mostly or all online. So no problem with how they stand up in the real world. Nothing against Phoenix, they are a quality program, but you can get the same for much, much less. Check out some local colleges and universities, local is always best as you may have to combine some evening or weekend classes with he online classes to complete your degree. Remember also that community college classes will, in most cases, transfer to universities so if you are in need of some lower division course work, take it locally, either online or in real time from a community college, and transfer the credits. Do some searches for the degree programs you are interested in, you will be surprised at what is available! No one will ever ask "where did you take your required sophomore level global studies class?" they are only interested in where you graduated from.
