If C900, using the proper Saab spacers (which are not that expensive) eliminates the risk for damaging the body when unloading the suspension.
I have seen many botched cars where someone tried to use sockets or nuts or something else to support the upper control arm and it bent part of the double sided sheet metal wall.
When that wall is compromised too much, it will keep on bending and buckling until destroyed when trying to unload the suspension.
