Just curious... why '94 or later on the Aero...? The '93's have the same HP rating, and the torque is reported a bit higher, but at a higher RPM than the '94 cars, IIRC. For manually shifted cars...
'93 225 HP, 258 lb-ft at 1950.
'94+ 225 HP, 252 lb-ft at 1800.
I think gear ratios stayed the same... And I suspect that the 252/258 thing is simply a matter of how they wanted to report it. Granted, a '93 has different software (T3?) than the later ones (T5?), but I suspect that the cars all drive nearly identically.
I once stayed glued to the bumper of a '00 +/- Firebird (The model with all four exhaust pipes coming from that 5.7 liter V8.) He gave me a look after our foray into triple digit speeds that said, "what in the world is that 5-door hatchback sporting?... and does the "turbo" on the grille make it faster?"
