Roland seems nice. I went to him based on recommendations on this website. During the changing of my wheel bearings he found my front brakes to be bad, so I had him do those too. When I picked the car up he told me the bill was $862.00.I whipped out the credit card whereupon he advises me he does not take credit cards. He failed to inform me of this, and there is no sign posted. So I had to give him a post-dated check because I was not anticipating the bill being this high, and he got annoyed. Plus, he still charged me sales tax despite his obvious cash business. I have no problem with avoiding taxes and all , but I feel gipped on the taxes and the failure to inform me of the lack of payment options for such a big bill left a bad taste in my mouth. No comment on the mechanical work as I haven't been on the highway with the car yet. Maybe a good mechanic but bad business man.
