I thought that ground fault would help you in this situation. Some current would be going through you to ground thus making the GFCI detect a difference in current between the neutral and positive lines and switching off. Of course, this would have to be after the GFCI unit, so if you're mucking with your household wiring you'll still get shocked unless you have a GFCI breaker. Am I wrong here?
