...they write down everything you say, so saying anything is an admission of guilt. I was just pulled over about 2 weeks ago. Before he had a chance to speak, I said 'hello officer, how may I help you.' He responded with 'I thought you were not wearing your seatbelt, but I can see you were...your car and your black coatr made that difficult to see.'
Now what if I had said 'because I have a broken front flasher assmbly, or because my blinkers have a short that I can't trace so they don't work....'?
Never argue, never answer, and never answer back. You will have a chance for all that in the court room, and if you kept your mouth shut he won't have any additional evidence.
