I received today via FedEx a very slick black box 2 5/8 x 12 1/4 x 12 3/4 which when opened has a place to insert your Saab key to open the inside, revealing an insert from Jay Spenchian, General Manager, Saab Automobile USA. There is also a paperback book about 200 pages about the Saab heritage. Most interesting is the "handy wallet card" which indicates that "All 2006 and 2007 models receive complimentary No-charge Scheduled Maintenance for 3 years or 36,000 miles." I knew this. What I didn't know from the documention that came with my 2006 9-3 Aero that the "no-charge service at the following milestones: 7,500, 15,000, 22,500, and 30,000 miles." The information that came with my car specified 10,000, 20,000, and 30,000 miles. Having a perhaps irrational concern about 10,000 mile oil changes even with Mobil 1, I like the 7,500 mile intervals. Any comments about the contradictory service interval specifications?
