Hey I had one of those! Posted by CrNiFe [Email] (#408) [Profile/Gallery] (more from CrNiFe) on Thu, 15 Mar 2007 10:10:18 In Reply to: My HP-12C was made in Dec 1981 in the USA, Geoff, Fri, 9 Mar 2007 13:45:24 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Red digital LED display - could do polar coordinates and things just like a real slide rule. About 200 Cdn, in maybe 1977 or 1978. It hurt, but it helped get me through engineering school.
Eventually I couldn't find a replacement rechargable batter for it. Now it is gathering dust in my memories drawer I think.
Still have an HP 32SII, staying alive faithfully, ser 3301S09268, which I suppose was made in week one of year 33, or 1993. I hope I never lose it.
Anyone still have a slide rule kicking around? I have a beautiful Faber-Castell, 500mm long, in a kangaroo skin case.
