If mileage is a concern, I would go with the 9-5. I do a lot of driving in my 9-3 SC Aero, about 3k/month. I am finally getting near 25mpg per tank at 24k miles. I was getting about 30mpg with the same drive in my old 94 900SE 2.0 turbo coupe. I didn't need to size of the 9-5 but did consider it, just didn't come across any with the options I wanted. Good luck with your decision.
