Be careful though when comparing EPA figures to your real-world mileage. Your '98 900 turbo was EPA rated (by '98 standards) at 20 city/27 hwy, figure about 20% lower to compare with 2008 standards. A magazines' road test figures may be more 'real-world', but how do they drive? Do they hold a lower gear to tackle the twisties, or keep the engine loafing?
Your final point is why a lot of us are here - Saab's, esp. used, offer a whole lot of car for not much money.
