Buy one of the Treks either the 7300 or the 7500 you'll appreciate the warranty and the quality of the bike. The Bianchi Milano is nice, but this year they changed it quite a bit, it now has a trigger shifter,a much lower stem and bars, and it has a chain tensioner instead of slotted dropouts. Nickshu for what its worth cross bikes are really good for cross but not really for the road, the bottom bracket is higher so the center of gravity is higher and the stays are only slightly longer than a road bike, they often get billed as the "do everything" bike but I see them as good for cross but not much else, the really good ones don't even have eyelets for racks and fenders.I spent many winters riding a cross bike on the road and realized it's a lousy road bike,I prefer my Independent Clubracer with road bike geometry and fender clearance (check out the Soma Smoothie ES as a cheap alternative to the IF).

way too many bikes to list, at last count more than 12 if you include my tandem and triplet, my current favorites are my IF Clubracer and my Trek Madone 6.9 w/SRAM.
