Foaming bee killer. I had a similar issue, except they built in the corner of my house. I got a can of foaming bee killer and attached a 3' length of vinyl tubing to it (didn't want to get too close). CAREFULLY stuck the end of the hose in the entrance hole (usually there are two, so be careful) and foamed them to death.
As an aside, have a can of spray glue handy (3m spray mount is one brand). it's great for downing bees that are flying around. It has a wide spray pattern which makes flying bees easier to hit. Once you spray them, their wings stick to their body, rendering them flightless and easier to kill. Spray glue works great for spraying wasp nests too. One shot and the bees and nest become one giant sticky blob. Other wasps coming in for a landing get stuck too. I always have a can on hand when I'm up on a ladder painting, or going to the salvage yard to pick parts. I stumbled across this by accident when I was painting the house one year. I went in the basement lookig for wasp spray, but we didn't have any. I saw the can of spray glue and thought; "this might work". I haven't used wasp spray since.
