New Salem Saab of Albany NY and Lou Roberti are joining forces to maintain and build Saab Sales and Service to current and future Northeastern Saab customers.

Darryl F. Carl, Owner of New Salem Saab, Albany NY and Lou Roberti have agreed to team up in the New Salem Saab dealership facility located at 2017 Central Avenue in Albany NY. New Salem Saab has been a Saab dealer since 1961 and is currently the oldest originally owned Saab Dealer in the Northeast and the 2nd oldest originally owned Saab Dealer in the United States. Economic situations have allowed for the two Dealers to combine strengths and continue to provide their customers with the excellent services they have come to expect during the 75 years of their combined Saab experience. Lou Roberti, will become General Manager of Variable Operations and will bring his sales Manager Todd Reihbandt and others along with him. Roberti, 49 and Carl, 38 carry an undying passion for their Saab brand and consistently earn top Customer Satisfaction Scores by their customers. Carl himself holds a second title of Fixed Operations Director for service and parts as well as Service Manager and will remain at that capacity along with other Principle responsibilities. Together the team will manage a customer base nearing 10,000 strong. Carl and Roberti expect to have an Open house celebration early in 2009 offering special deals on new and pre-owned Saab automobiles at the Albany location. Roberti and Reihbandt will officially be on site during the week of January 5th to start preparations for the team’s up and coming 2009 season.
