In addition to the fine suggestions made by the others, it sounds as if you could drop your pump down another 20 feet or so. An additional option to those you mentioned - since you can produce about 1.6 gal/min, you may want to consider installing a cistern, with an additional pump from that into the house system. Your well is producing about 2,300 gallons per day (assuming that the rate you mentioned is the equilibrium rate); you would have to flush a lot, wash a lot of dishes, and wash a lot of cars to use that much water. It looks like your momentary demand may be high at times, and a good storage system would help you out. You also may just have to pull the pump (I assume a down hole pump at this depth) and check the pick-up screens for any clogging, in addition to the previous suggestions to check the pump itself, wiring, fuses etc.
