There were 70+ years when the society had been learning about how to be kinda equal but not rich. After that there happened 90s that were very much similar to Chicago 30s and it all ended in '98. A bit later there were 2000s and guess what? People went crazy and started buying brand new bimmers and merces and audi's (and much of these purchases were made on tick) and other high-end stuff while still living it low-end apartments (or even renting them) just to have "a proper look". You couldn't make smth up with a chick if your ride isn't from Germany and/or is more then two years old. I believe that the current crisis will be helpful enough to teach us living the proper way.
As for "EU top market" - it was mostly about the speed of grow not the volume. IMHO the China market is much more worth to expand to then RU. Yep, RU is pretty big market comparing to other East EU ones but I wouldn't expect too much on this.
