Not knowing anything about Koenigsegg, I just went to their web site and read up on the founder and history of the company and their cars. Wow! Seems like a lot of synergy with the early history of Saab, except Koenigsegg is targeting the specialty car market. Interest in innovation, performance, safety... Seems like they could find a way to market Saabs that would find a niche focusing on the right blend of performance, fuel economy, versatility, and driving fun!
They don't have the experience of running a mass-production auto company, but the folks in Trollhattan bring that piece of the equation. The only sticking point would be establishing a dealer network. If they can make all that work....Saab could be back to its roots. An intriguing thought!
