I frequent here.....just not under this name and for obvious and good reason, the news about this will not be made public until next Thursday or Friday, I just figured I would save people the grief of all this waiting when there really was no waiting.
I love how the news on the internet talks of possible new bidders and buyers wanting to re enter the bidding process, its all a game with the media, your heads, etc....They damn well new from the onset they were going to choose a GM related owner, Koenigsegg never stood a chance!
Thats who I think we all wanted to be the new owner of SAAB, at least now they can continue with the new 9-5 "cool" and the 9-4x "whos gonna buy that POS" and the 9-3x which I think is really nice.... Late, but nice, so it will be as if GM never left the building they get SAABs technology we get the platforms, parts, motors, quality, etc....
SAAB will continue on the same path as it has for the past 20 years or so and GM has made the wrong choice we all know it at least anyone with a spine!
I think we all wanted some new ideas and Swedish talent. We all know SAAB is missing something and that is a soul, new SAABs can look cool performe amazing and have new gadgets and all the modernized crap some of you desire but when it comes down to it and you look at the car in your driveway, garage, whatever, you see a car that was manufactured by GM not SAAB and till this day when I get in a classic 900 I feel something good, it has soul, with Koenigsegg I believe SAAB could have regained that.
