my grill burners are starting to deteriorate near the back (large yellow flame instead of small blue). the last few small perforations along the burner are cracked and now run together giving the gas a large hole to exit. this make for somewhat inconsistent cooking.
i was thinking of using some jb weld to close everything back up and then maybe redrill the small holes. question is, if i do this, is there anything in the jb weld that will outgas when placed in direct flame and cause issues with the food?
of couse i could always just buy new burners or a grill, but what fun is that?
thanks for your thoughts.
