Toyota has a problem with subframes in the Tacoma truck line. They rust out like crazy. A close friend is having his replaced free on his 7-year old truck. With a free loaner for the time the work will take.
This is NOT a new problem for Toyota, though, so one wonders if Toyota still hasn't figured out how to use steel that doesn't rust.
