This news today is such a serious bummer. I sat in the new 9-5 at the LA auto show and it seems stupid to let a completely redesigned car be mothballed.
Needless to say, my '03 9-5 Aero wagon isn't going anywhere, but it brings up the question. How long are we going to be able to get parts for our cars? Things like motor mounts, turbos, SIDs, and other "critical" model specific things suddenly now raise a serious question for me in terms of what we may get stuck with in a few years.
I assume the newer cars have a good 5-10 yrs of parts availability, right?
