.....and how many "last ditches" does that make? We want to see SAAB survive as much as anyone, but the way this looks, there's an excellent chance that any rebirth will be stillborn.....and people with long warranties would be better off with a GM shutdown.
Personally, if the Spyker sale goes through, I can see them announcing no export to the Western Hemisphere before the ink is dry on the agreement. With this long drawn out end to GM/SAAB, sales have shrunk to such a marginal level that it may not pay the new owner to try and revive it here. We had notice the other day from the dealer we bought our current ride from (Guilford SAAB in CT) that they will continue SAAB service, but they are moving on and acquiring another car line.
