Whirlpool Top Loading GSX9750PW0 Clothes Washer (also called Ultimate Care 2)....4yrs 11 months old. (This is a direct-drive type machine, not a belt driven model)
The washer has recently developed a shaking, and "walking" condition. It moves around wayyy too much on the high speed spin cycles.
The machine is perfectly leveled on the laundry room floor.
This is not an "unbalanced load" situation, as this condition exists 100% when running the machine with an EMPTY wash basket.
The liquid filled balance ring mounted on the top of the wash basket was bad....I found it contained no liquid. It was replaced.
Condition did not improve at all. Something else MUST be wrong, but nobody seems to know where or how to troubleshoot it.
Machine still shakes and "walks" while running high speed spin cycle (even with an EMPTY wash basket).
I need HELP with ideas/suggestions/known solutions to this problem. Please help.
Thank you in advance for your answers....all are welcome.
