I had a 94 Pathfinder that was a great driving SUV. However, it developed severe frame rot above the rear wheels. I've seen many other of the hardbody style Nissan's with similar rot. On the other hand, those cars are still on the road.
Great car otherwise, but check out that frame. They have so much suspension travel and big wheel wells that crouching down is enough to see, there are holes in the frame which will let you see what the situation is.
