Don't get me wrong, I am almost completely in love with the WebOS on the Pixi. My only concerns are that I cannot expand the phone's memory (stuck at 8gb), the processor seems a little weak, and I seem to be going through the battery as fast or faster than I was on my two year old Blackberry.

The ergonomics of the phone are brilliant and the OS is very intuitive to use (setting things up is a different story). I really think that if this thing ditched the physical keyboard and opted for another screen in combination with with the processer from the PRE we would have a serious iPhone competitor on our hands.

What I like about the Hero (or other Droid) device is that I can expand it and customize it as time goes by. And in regard to comment about the lack of apps, yes there are a plethora of apps available for the phone, but Android phones have a plethora and a half.

For example I did a search on my palm for an aviation METAR app and found none available, I then did the same search on my wife's Hero and it turned about at least five free METAR apps.

In short, I got through fine with my Blackberry Pearl for two years, but there were times when I saw its limitations with storage and processing. Does the Pixi work great now? Yes. What about in two years when I'm asking it to do more and its battery is getting up there in its useful life? I don't know. I really want to keep the Pixi, I'm only concerned that it doesn't have enough muscle, but damn does it feel good in my hand.
