Saab in Hereafter. Why do they have to get crashed? Posted by bender [Email] (#268) [Profile/Gallery] (more from bender) on Tue, 2 Nov 2010 20:32:12 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have an old Saab magazine, and it says that Saab approaches (I guess back then) movie production companies to have their car in the movie, but agree not to have it crashed. Only a keen Saaber such as I (and you, of course) would notice the OG900 (or 9-3?) in a scene in the movie. The windshield gets crushed by a body. This is not the first time I've seen a Saab get hurt in a movie.
I don't get it. They had to have specifically picked the Saab....why pick IT to have it get in an accident or whatever? (I bring this up as it isn't the first time I saw it happen. Perhaps something to do with safety :-) Maybe Saab approaches movies to include their new cars and doesn't bother with the old ones?)
Just a thought.
