How to setup lights on a rear hatch to hang on wall Posted by Scott Brown [Email] (#1388) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Scott Brown) on Mon, 13 Dec 2010 19:32:03 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Let me explain. :)
I saved the rear hatch from my wife's first car, an 86 cabriolet. It has the third brake light and license plate lights. I'd like to set it up to turn the lights on when a switch is flipped, and I'd like to use rechargeable batteries. Anyone have any advice on how to go about this?
I thought I'd use the battery from my drill, as i don't use it enough and nickel cadmium don't like to sit. At 19+ volts though, it is too much, plus it is a bit bulky.
Thanks for any thoughts.
