SO I attempted, mostly successfully, but very painfully, to refinish my 98 9000 CSE rims.
It took a TON of time. A lot of patience, and screwing up the one bastard wheel made me inconsolable for weeks.
I used 2 orders of the Eeuroparts wheel refinishing 'kit', which includes 2 cans of aluminum, and 2 cans of gloss each kit.
Total cost was 250+, including the various sand papers, red-colored hardener filler stuff, and paint.
I get it that these BBS rims are different, but for future readers, I would not recommend this approach with High surface area rims. too many places for imperfection to SHINE through. Although for the ost difference, if it ain't a show car, they look great for the money. And as usual when working on our loved ones (SAABs), one cannot honestly factor in the time as part of the cost equation. it wouldn't be worth it if you did.
