Our family car is an '01 9-5 Aero wagon 5-speed that sees a lot of city use which is one of the things that can cause sludge in these cars. So in addition to regular oil changes I make sure to take it out on highway for some fun at least a couple of times a week. My favorite thing to do is demonstrate Jeremy Clarkson's claim that a 9-5 is faster than a Porsche 911 Turbo from 40-70 mph, nothing like hitting the rev limiter in second gear!
