...take possession of the physical metal. Be advised the ETF funds will be taxed as a collectible at normal rates and not at 15% capital gain rate. Depends on your state if the purchase is taxed. Usually if the purchased amount is above $1000-1500 there is no sales tax. There are many places you can purchase PM, I have been happy with bulliondirect.com. Also check out local jewelry/coin stores and see what kind of deal you can get. When you buy PM there is usually a premium above the spot price of the metal. Do your research and buy smart.
