OT: Jack Stand capacity definition? Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Wed, 13 Jul 2011 17:05:39 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I am looking at some Torin brand jack stands that are on sale. The 2-ton stands are a little shorter, better for low cars, but what does 2-ton actually mean? Are they rated for 2-tons each, or 2-tons in a pair, or the pair is safe for use under one end of a 2-ton vehicle which sort of means 2-tons for a set of four.? The Torin website didn't offer an answer.
Thanks,
