Red is very much stronger than the blue. Blue you can take apart with hand tools like 1/4 drive or 3.8 drive. Red will usually take a breaker bar and often head to break the bonds to get it off. OTOH, if used in a situation where it gets heat (flywheel/clutch bolts come to mind), they can often be removed without heat at the time of disassembly, but with greater force.
There's even a green called "bearing lock". you don't want to use that at home...
