SAAB OEM: The radiator is aluminum, ends are plastic. As far as I know, the radiator that I replaced last year on my 1994 9000 was original. It was made by Blackstone (I have a friend with the same last name!) and had an aluminum core with plastic end tanks; the Behr OEM radiator on my Audi is similar. The 9000 radiator needed replacement because the plastic at the upper (hot) hose connection was cracking from heat and age - typical failure. I replaced it with a Nissens unit, same general construction, should be good for another 17 years.......
I believe that my C900 had an all-metal radiator, but those days are long gone.
