Unfortunately a dumb article and an even more dumb set of items to vote on. BMW should definitely go for SAAB as a FWD practical brand. But, they should also look at reviving Triumph as a inexpensive, back to basics, sports car. Could develop a platform that would create a new Triumph convertible along with a SAAB Sonett coupe.
The Mazda MX-5 still remains unchallenged, and the only new competitor that has been hinted will be a small RWD Alfa Romeo (new) Duetto. A market with the MX-5, Duetto and a new Spitfire, would be a very nice market. :]
