I know Rick casually and I've seen his cars - you'd never know how they were painted. I followed his procedure and did a small panel on my Fleetwood and it turned out pretty good... The metal where I did it was obviously crappy and pitted, but the Rustoleum did a fine job filling. Even that small spot was a lot of work and I haven't mustered the energy to do my Falcon, but I will someday, just for the experience. The picture below is before the last sand/repaint and still wet. Finished and dry, you'd never know it wasn't just slightly imperfect original paint.
