I did some fork and electrical work on a '74 Norotn Commando for a guy. He had no way to collect it so I agreed to ride it over to his place if he'd give me a ride back. Thirty miles out, and running great it drops the left rod through the crankcase, the engine and rear wheel lock up at about 60 MPH and it's whipping around like it's on acid......in traffic! Well, I guess my days on bucking horses paid off cause I kept it upright and got it to the shoulder. Walked most of the ay home, now I get to rebuild his engine.
