Hahaha that is a great story!!!! I backed half-way off a 5' stone wall once in my dad's 9000. Could have been worse tho - like yours!

Ooo just remembered another - I was driving home from Nantucket Island in the '90 SPG. Had just dropped off my girlfriend and headed home on I89. Near Grantham, NH a spider that had been evading me the whole trip finally dropped down right in my face! A big one! I hit the auto window, grabbed the spider, and threw it out the window. When i looked up, I was FLYING off the interstate! Literally all wheels off the ground! I bottomed out and plowed into the median and up toward the southbound lane before realizing what was going on, nailing the brakes, and steering back into the median. CLEARED a 6' deep pit, plowed through two signs, and came to a sliding stop. Decided I didn't want to spring for a tow and started her back up and drove across to the brakedown lane. Got out and checked everything - no leaks, no dents, nothing missing, not even a scratch! Except a badly dented lisence plate that took the signs. Drove her home that night (didn't tell my parents or girlfriend), and snuck her down to the indy the next day and told them what happened - and not to tell my parents. They called that afternoon and I snuck away to talk. "It's totalled" they told me. As I cussed them out, I heard hysterical laughter in the background. "Just kidding!" They said - in fact it was totally fine. "It's because you drive a TANK!" They told me.
