Strut/shock replace all four or two or one? Posted by GFW3pedals [Email] (#405) [Profile/Gallery] (more from GFW3pedals) on Fri, 7 Feb 2014 04:54:34 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Non Saab, I'm feeling what I think is a bad shock/strut passenger rear. I'm getting about 3 ups and downs over bumps..which is too much, and cornering is a bit squirrely. Also small pot holes are loud bangs from the back. Barring other reasons, is it wise to replace just the one, or maybe both rears? Or all four? 150K on this vehicle..but will probably run it until something major goes. Last time I did this I replaced all four and sold the car for next to nothing about a year later due to a major mechanical failure. Guess that's the gamble keeping old cars going.
