My 1999 9.5 wagon, 2.3 turbo 4cyl 170k mileage was sending those codes:
P1110 - Charge air by pass valve, P1549 - Boost pressure control malfunction. P0300 - Random misfire detected. P1300 - Random misfire detected.
I thought my transmission was out because I could rev up the eng, but the car would barely move when going up a hill. After reading some post I thought maybe my turbo was going out because I could eventually hear the gears changing on the trans. One post suggested to check for loose hoses before buying any parts. That I did and found two hoses had come loose. One hose was a small one near the brake booster. The other hose was large below the fans. I put a clamp on the small one hoping it will stay. On the large hose I re-positioned the clamp and made sure it was tight. I also changed the plugs and reset the codes with a OBDII code reader from Harbor Freight for $54.99 Wow, was I surprised my beautiful black wagon was back to normal. I had almost given up on the car thinking that the repairs would have been too expensive. The car was really driving bad and would hardly move. Thank you Saabnet.
