what motor, batteries etc did he use?
Converting a light sports car to drive well may be easier than converting a bigger car. Usually EV convert types go for light vehicles. VW golf/rabbit/old bug were popular. I've seen a few older porsches... there's a cool 96 ev conversion and there were a few other saabs... but for the old saabs, it's usually the tranny, not the motor that goes... and the body before the tranny (in these parts)...
this has always intrigued me, but never was able to pull the trigger... seemed the pricing to make the car still go like a SAAB was upwards of 10k, but that was years ago. maybe prices have come down on parts. I wonder if we're getting to a point that one could pull prius motors from the junkyard... but they are probably really weak motors also...
there was a ng900 that burned up in the garage. definitely wouldn't want that to happen either!
