Hi Everyone
Please join us in supporting the Global Giving Challenge for Poverty2Prosperity.org, the non-profit created by Scott Paterson.
https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/create-a-fund-to-make-microloans-to-women/ or see link at bottom
We are participating in this fundraising challenge with Global Giving to qualify as an approved non-profit organization on Global Giving's corporate giving site. By qualifying through this challenge, Poverty2Prosperity will have easy, approved access to Global Giving corporate partners including Dell, Nike, Neutrogena and Pepsi.
To qualify as a Global Giving organization, we need to raise $5K in the month of September and demonstrate our relevance and reach to our network and beyond. Please click on the link below and support us with a donation in any amount.
Poverty2Prosperity was founded by Scott Paterson in 2008 to provide micro-loans to developing-world entrepreneurs who would otherwise not have access to working capital from traditional banks and credit institutions. We will create a perpetual lending fund that will focus on women and will include: education loans, family friendly businesses (in home for example), health improvements such as alternatives to burning coal which tend to harm women. P2P wants to give women a chance to prove themselves as a successful part of their community. They are focused on getting their children educated - much more so than men. Through this entrepreneurship, daughters are shown the benefits of cultivating a path of business, and families are given a chance to lift themselves out of poverty.
Poverty2Prosperity (P2P) is a San Francisco Bay Area CA – based 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Microfinance organization engaged in the goal of alleviating and breaking the cycle of poverty through micro-loans and other poverty-escaping projects. P2P is focused on providing micro-loans to developing-world entrepreneurs who would otherwise not have access to working capital from traditional banks and credit institutions. By providing a 'help out' rather than a 'hand out,' micro-loans form the basis of a renewable source of economic stimulus; once the micro-loan is paid back, it can be re-loaned to another deserving entrepreneur.
Please click on this link and support us by donating any amount and help support micro-finance for women throughout the world.
