These guys have set the bar at a new all-time low. The home pictured is across the street from me and the only work being done was a full tear-off re-shingle job.
No eye protection
No hand protection
No fall protection
Notice that they did not install a layer of Ice Guard on the garage roof but are relying 100% on the tar paper layer.
The weather forecast this morning showed a 70% chance of rain (!) when these yahoos arrived at 7:30am. The crew was done for the day at 5:00pm and is leaving the job site as shown for the night. It was raining steadily when I took these photos and only part of the neighbor's roof is covered by a tarp. a tarp that is unsecured and will blow off when the wind picks up.
The front door is obstructed by both debris on the porch and a low scaffold "pick" spanning the front of the house.
The garage door is obstructed by the plywood sheating and the debris trailer. The trailer must be empty based on the amount of debris still in the yard at end of work shift!
The back slider 'may' be usable, or the rear deck might be just as bad as the front yard.
