Elon is famous for sending out late night cryptic tweets about upcoming product developments and company announcements.
Is this because he loves his company's fans and supporters that much, and wants them to know things first? Is it because these tweets nearly always result in a bump-up of stock price? What are the SEC requirements regarding company and executive announcements that can have an impact on stock prices?
With a money losing company (yes, most analysts are in agreement that Tesla's annual costs exceed their annual revenue) these stock price bump-ups allow greater borrowing power for more/larger loans needed to keep the company operating.
Just a feeling. Only time will tell and I have been both right and wrong in the past.
I am not disparaging Tesla's products but I am not sufficiently confident in the company's future to purchase or lease one of their vehicles. From a guy with three Saabs.
