Do you carry road flares? If so, how should I do that safely to avoid fire risk? I see there are various bags and cases. 30 minute seems recommended over 20 minute. Where do you buy them to avoid hazmat shipping costs?
Where do you pack your flares and/or safety triangle? My triangle buried with the spare tire in the wagon and not easy to dig out if the trunk is full. 20min flares might fit in the side cubby of the 9-5 trunk, but perhaps not in some sort of sealed container.
I wonder because flashers can quickly became weak or stop if there are electrical issues. I've had that happen. Battery powered flare-like lights are limited by the battery life and them not being dead.
On a related topic, anyone use the linked or other halon extinguisher? Crazy that there has been no halon manufactured in the US since 1994 and yet there's still supply for these. http://www.h3rcleanagents.com/support_faq_2.htm I've not been able to find a good mount option for the 9-5. I suppose a passenger seat seat rail mount could be fabricated.
